Couple of my favourite ppl to follow on Substack, what a treat! Wonderful interview Anna, well thought-out questions to draw different responses and to keep it not feel like a standard interview, but more like a chat with a friend. Poignant point by Chris too - to give yourself a break. I know it deeply from a logical and rational point of view, but doing it on a daily basisā€¦not as easy hehe

Ahh thank you so much for reading and so great to hear from you! Totally agree that in theory it sounds easy to treat ourselves with grace but in practice it's a daily struggle sometimes!!

Haha thanks! Hope youā€™re doing well too Anna! Back to the point at hand, it should be easy, especially if we treat others with the same grace that we often lack when it comes to ourselves. But if we have spent most of our lives doin the opposite, guess it takes a lot longer and harder to break from the programming. That said, i think itā€™s possible to get there if we keep at it šŸ˜Š and we should, cause if thereā€™s anyone more deserving of our love, kindness and grace, itā€™s ourselves!

Great interview Chris. And I for one don't expect you to write only about your disease, it would be great to read about culture, history or travel and adversity within those areas. You can make anything you write interesting. Vivienne

Thanks Vivienne! I think that's my long-term plan, to branch out. Once my book is done at least.
